Mark Shulman writes for children and adults.
He was an early reader, an uncle at eight years old, a camp counselor, a radio newscaster, a New York City tour guide, and an advertising creative director before writing Secret Hiding Places. He is the youngest of five children, and he grew up reading Sherlock Holmes and Dashiell Hammett in an old house full of corners.
Mark graduated from East High in Rochester, NY, and the University of Buffalo. He and his wife Kara live in New York.
Mark has developed and written picture books, activity books, pre-school books, and other strange books for a number of publishers, including Scholastic, Penguin/Grosset, Sterling, and more. More are always on the horizon.
